How we teach

Shaping people who know themselves,
grow stronger and show respect.

The mission, vision and values that guide CoRRA's day-to-day, supported by a well-established education system.

Our mission

We provide, through study, activities, examples and living together, the formation of the view that every human being becomes better when able to perceive their own virtues and those of others.

We provide the support for personal growth in which the physical, the psychic and the emotional are in lasting harmony.

Our vision

The future belongs to those who know themselves and grow stronger through their abilities; to the independent, the secure and the ethical.

And only knowledge and respect can provide this.

Our values

We believe in a just, humane and generous society, where the priority is Respect.

Respect for everything and everyone: we are different, but respect makes us equal in tolerance and kindness.

Education system and technology

CoRRA uses the Maxi Education System and apps that bring the school and families closer day to day.

Our education system

Maxi Education System

An education system with more than 30 years of history, offering teaching materials from Early Childhood Education to pre-university courses and an approach based on Affective Pedagogy, which brings together socioemotional skills, neuroscience and contemporary studies.

The question that became a school

Why don't I do it myself?

Maria Lúcia Ebner Rodrigues AlvesFounder of CoRRA

Our history

It all began with a question.

In 1982, a conversation at the parish about caring for the neighbourhood's children became a decision. On 7 February 1983, the school opened its doors in Butantã with Early Childhood Education, and grew alongside its students to include Elementary and Middle School and High School.
